Inverclyde Time Teamers

Well, that is another tour done and dusted with another really lovely bunch of folk.

This outing was the Overton tour taking in the recently discovered Overton Burial Cairn. This cairn was identified by Inverclyde Time teamers and following consultation with Historic Environment Scotland, the find has been confirmed.

We were lucky today as we managed to get everybody back down and off the hill just before the rain arrived.

Allan and I however headed back to the Gryfe after the tour through the murky stuff to look at the Gryfe hut circle.

Again, some really nice feedback from our tour participants today after we had wrapped things up. No soup today, instead we had some tea up high, so maybe that’s why they call it ‘high tea’? Lol.

Libby also brought some lovely home baking with her and she had plenty to share.

Hope to see some of you again on another tour
